Christmas 2022 / New Year 2023

Written by Administrator on .

2022 has been a busy year at CWC Services! We’ve improved our existing products, new developments are in the pipeline and we've listened to your feedback. We’re always keen to improve our products and service for our retailers and customers alike and we always welcome your feedback!

Digital products - Eloggist© and EDIS©

We've had a unavoidable delays to the development of our digital products thanks to COVID and Brexit requiring changes to our team and working within tighter budgets. Nevertheless, these products are on track and we intend to announce our digital logging platform in the Spring of 2023 and our 2nd generation digital triage and evacuation track/trace system later in the year.

Please get in touch if you any enquiries about our digital systems or would like to be involved in early trials!

Prices 2023

Cruciform® Triage and Evactuation are complex products, hand-assembled with many components. Due to inflation, together with the loss of some specialist equipment manufacturers, costs for these products have escalated significantly over 2022 and regrettably we're no longer able to absorb them. We hope this is a temporary situation and will endeavour to reduce prices again as manufacturing costs ease.

On a positive note, despite inflation affecting manufacture of all our products, we've been able to hold the prices of our popular logbook products into 2023, with only very small increases to our more specialist logbooks.

Festive Period deliveries

Strikes affecting the Post Office as well as our courier, DPD, make for more challenging delivery logistics this year than usual. We guarantee that logbook orders of 50 or less, or smaller Cruciform® orders of 5 boxes or less, received by close of business on 20th December, will be shipped on 21st December for delivery on or before 23rd December. Our warehouse closes on 21st December, reopening on 3rd January, so orders received after 20th won't be shipped until 3rd January 2023 at the earliest.

We apologies for any inconvenience caused especially by additional delays caused due to industrial action outside our control.

We would like to wish all our customers, retailers, NHS, paramedics and EPRR staff and workers a wonderful, safe and peaceful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to your continued business and the announcement of new developments in 2023!

Direct Debits and CWC Services

Written by Administrator on .

If you or a family member has found a regular monthly Direct Debit payment in the name of CWC Services on your bank statement, we would like to assure you that this has nothing to do with our company despite the apparently similar business name. We have contacted Action Fraud (a division of the UK police) and registered a complaint with them, but they are unable to act further without direct contact from victims themselves. They have however advised us to post the following information for members of the public, so please read on for more information and guidance as to what you can do...

We have been contacted a number of times by distressed members of the public who have had direct debits set up on their bank for between £50 and £100 per month, without any idea what the payments are for. In some cases, the individual has cancelled the DD only to find that it has reappeared again on their bank.

The direct debits appear often appear in the name of CWC Services Ltd or Limited. Our company name is QGS Holdings Ltd., and we operate under the trading name of CWC Services (without the word 'limited'). This is a perfectly normal practice, for example insurance company Admiral Insurance is a trading name of EUI Limited.

We have investigated further and found CWC Services Ltd. on companies house (click here to view). We believe this is the company responsible for setting up these direct debits. It appears that they have no website, phone number or contact details, and their registered office address is a 'dropbox-style' address in Ipswich. Without further information we are left in little doubt that this is likely to be a scam, because:

  1. In all cases we have been contacted by elderly people or concerned relatives
  2. Cancelled direct debits often seem to get reinstated by the company
  3. Victims never have any idea what the direct debit is for
  4. The company CWC Services Ltd. appears completely un-contactable except by post
  5. We started receiving complaints around June 2020, and the company CWC Services Ltd. formed in January 2020 under its original company name 'Clear Drainage Solutions Limited'

What you can do

  1. Immediately call your bank and cancel the direct debit. Indicate to them that this may be a scam and instruct them that no further DD's should be set up for the company CWC Services or any variation on that name
  2. Total up any DD payments you have made so far and inform the bank of the total. Many banks will refund DD's that have been set up without prior knowledge or authority from an individual, especially if it looks like a scam
  3. If the DD reappears, contact the bank again and ask them to take steps to ensure that these DD's cannot be set up again. That may involve cancelling and issuing a new debit card, or in the worst case changing your bank account number
  4. If you wish to take further action, file a case with Action Fraud and in your report mention case number NFRC220305065397, which is a case we have filed with them. You can also link them to this page on our website. Cases can be filed online, or you can contact Action Fraud by telephone (click above website link for freephone number).
  5. You can also telephone the local police by dialling 101.

About our company

CWC Services (not Limited) are a trading name of QGS Holdings Ltd. (view on Companies House). We produce documentation systems - digital and paper based logbooks, evacuation and triage cards, for use by the NHS, First Responders and Emergency Managers amongst others. We rarely sell our products directly to the public, and have never set up any direct debits to take payment for our products or services.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and distress caused. Despite being nothing to do with us, we are deeply sympathetic and would like to help in any way possible to put a stop to this kind of opportunistic fraud.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like further help or support.

2021 has been a busy year at CWC Services! We’ve refined our existing products, new developments are in the pipeline and we've listened to your feedback. We’re always keen to improve our products and service for our retailers and customers alike.

2022 Prices

We had to raise our prices this year to reflect increased manufacture costs and knock-ons from Brexit and COVID. But we expect to hold our prices for 2022, so there won’t be any price rise until the end of next year at the earliest. Quantity discounts are still applied automatically for website orders.

Festive period opening hours and deliveries

Our office will be open to handle enquiries and receive orders over the Christmas / New Year festive period, but our warehouse is closed from 22nd December 2021 until 3rd January 2022. Urgent orders can be processed so long as we receive them no later than 12pm Tuesday 21st December, for cruciform orders, or 12pm Wednesday 22st December for logbook orders. Orders received after that time will be shipped in the New Year, 3rd January at the earliest.

Product News

Our new digital logging platform is fast approaching readiness for trials in the New Year. The system is compatible with all modern smartphones, tablets and laptops and has a featureset that exceeds our paper-based logbooks from day one. A raft of features for loggists and scene managers, unprecedented in real-time and large scale EPRR scenarios, are planned for implementation across 2022 and beyond. We expect the system to be generally available Q2/Q3 2022. Please get in touch if you any enquiries about the system or would like to be involved in early trials!

As we have done for over 25 years, CWC Services will continue to develop peerless, internationally recognised emergency documentation products and systems.

We keenly welcome any enquiry or feedback!

In the meantime we would like to wish all our customers a wonderful Christmas, a happy New Year and we look forward to your continued business in 2022!

Emergency Log Books, Loggists and COVID-19 / Coronavirus (14/04/2020)

Written by Administrator on .

*** Update - 14th April 2020 ***

Loggist books

CWC Services have for over 25 years recognised the importance of Emergency Documentation Products during times of disaster and crisis. We created the first standardised Triage Card worldwide - Cruciform® - as well as the first standard Emergency Log Book© (ELB© or "Green Book"). Due to vastly increased demand we are pleased to announce up-scaling of manufacturing for our loggist products to reflect the needs of EPRR teams, hospitals, paramedical and other government/NGO's throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.

NHS organisations can order directly from us by sending purchase orders to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Our standard delivery window for logbook orders is 2-3 working days, however due to urgent need for our products throughout the pandemic we will endeavour to dispatch same-day any orders received before 2pm (Monday to Thursday) for next day delivery. Orders received on Friday will be processed the following Monday for next-day delivery.

We would also like to make our NHS partners aware that our Cruciform® Triage and Evacuation products are available and provide the most rigorous Triage and Evacuation documentation systems available in the world today. These products are especially suitable for COVID applications as they offer large-format and detailed areas for medical recording, as well as at-a-glance stickers for quickly identifying COVID patients amongst those with other medical needs. Please take a look at our Cruciform® Triage and Cruciform® Evacuation pages or get in touch for more information.

We have been assured by our manufacturing facility that production and supply of our product range will continue during this difficult period. Priority will be given to NHS and other key workers and we anticipate that we will be able to meet any surge in demand.

Specific Product notes

Cruciform products are hand-assembled so lead times in the short term are a little longer due to reduced staffing at our warehouse.

Although we have the capacity to meet virtually any demand, we anticipate this situation will continue for the next few months so lead times may be a little longer than usual. We therefore encourage our customers to order from us early rather than last-minute. This is especially the case for customers in Emergency Service or Resilience provision.

CWC Services would like to pay tribute to all workers involved in the Coronavirus effort, especially those on the front line. We endeavour to do our part to provide the essential tools to assure best practice and service delivery throughout this difficult time. Please get in touch with us should you have any questions, enquiries or feedback about our products. And follow us on twitter to keep up with the latest news from us.

Coronavirus / COVID-19 update

Written by Administrator on .

We regret to inform you of potential delays in fulfilling orders for our Cruciform® Triage System, as of Friday 21st March with respect to the COVID19 outbreak.

Until this date we can continue to guarantee a maximum of 5 days lead time (longer as usual on high-volume orders), but due to potential staffing issues at our warehouse lead times for delivery of Cruciform may increase. This is due in part to the fact that Cruciform® products must be hand assembled along with the current unprecedented demand.

However, as a supplier of emergency management and resilience products we will endeavour to continue with 'business as usual' and at the time of writing we are fully staffed and operational. We cannot predict how sickness may impact us (and our supply chain) over the coming weeks and this may result in delays fulfilling orders.

you can continue to order products either via purchase order via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , or through our website prices & order page.

Specific Product notes

This includes our EPLB© LogBooks which are now available within normal expected lead times All other products can be fulfilled and delivered per our usual terms.
